| In terms of Policy Conditions,
it is imperative that claims are notified with the
minimum possible delay (no longer than 20 days). To
achieve this, the following procedure should be followed: |

- All homeowners are
to immediately notify Lee Holmes at Crawford Dougall
Insurance
Brokers of any potential claims.
- The initial claims
report must contain the following information:

Circumstances
of the Claim (as much detail as possible)

The
date of loss
-
The
Lot Number of the damaged property
-
Police
case number where applicable (i.e. Theft Claim)
-
In respect
of Motor Claims, details regarding the whereabouts
of the vehicles and / or assessment instructions.

- The appropriate
completed Claim Form to be submitted, together with
all supporting
documentation to Crawford Dougall as soon as possible.
- The
Homeowner must never admit liability or guilt if
damage is caused to third party property.
- The Homeowner
must take all necessary steps to minimise the loss
and all recoverable property,
whether damaged or not and must be stored in
safekeeping.
- Should any item of property be replaced
without the consent of the Insurance Company, it
must
be understood that the cost of replacement
is for the client's
account, until such time as the Insurance Company has admitted liability
in respect of the claim.
